Housing Information:
A block of hotel rooms has been reserved for CMWR participants at the conference venue, which is the Westin Hotel in downtown San Francisco at a rate of $179/night plus tax. There are a limited number of discounted-rate CMWR rooms in the reserved block; these rooms will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. As such, participants are encouraged to reserve their rooms early by using the online room reservation tool available HERE.
Social Event (Wednesday, 7/9/08):
Teatro ZinZanni offers a bewitching blend of European cabaret, feats of skill and cirque arts, original music, comedy and theatrical antics, all intertwined with a delectable 5-course gourmet dinner. It is set in a magnificent antique Belgian Spiegeltent – truly the nightclub of one’s dreams! Sign up for this event when registering for the conference.

Ground Transportation/Directions:
The Westin is located approximately 25 minutes (15 miles) from San Francisco International Airport.

- BART is available directly from SFO. The Montgomery Street Station is ~1 block walk from the Westin.
Wireless Access:
Each participant will have access to wireless internet from both their sleeping room and the lobby area of the Westin Hotel for a fee of $14.95 per 24 hour period.
International Visa Information:
We advise anyone who may need a visa to apply early. Visa applicants should apply at least 3 months in advance of the meeting. Security-related policies have greatly increased the processing time for visa applications. U.S. consular officers now usually interview applicants as part of the application process.
