Biographical Summary

Fei Chen is a postdoctoral research fellow at Earth Sciences Division, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He received his PhD in Environmental Engineering from Clemson University in 2011. His PhD dissertation is focused on contaminant mass transfer during boiling in fractured geologic media. His research work at LBNL includes calibrating a ground water flow model for the pumping tests conducted at Ketzin pilot site for CO2 injection and modeling anisotropic coupled multiphase fluid flow, heat, and geomechanics in shale.
