Biographical Summary
I received my undergraduate degree in Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution at the University of California, Los Angeles. I joined the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in 2008 as a Research Associate in the Earth Sciences Division and I am currently working in the Andersen Lab under the supervision of Gary Andersen and Yvette Piceno. My current projects involve the identification of bacteria and archaea from environmental samples using the PhyloChip DNA microarray.
