Research Interests

I am broadly interested in the application of chemical and isotope data to address questions about the origin and evolution of the Earth.  Presently, I am using geochemical data to quantify mass transfer, precipitation and exchange processes in subduction zones, mid-ocean ridge hydrothermal and geothermal systems. I am additionally interested in techniques to measure isotopic fractionation of the so-called non-traditional stable isotopes (e.g. Ca, Cr, Fe and Cd) and developing models to apply these data to environmental and energy related problems.
