The Earth Sciences Division hosts and facilitates a number of seminar series throughout the year. Aimed at encouraging scientific discussion and exploration, these events feature experts from around the country.
The Berkeley Lab Earth Sciences Division Distinguished Scientist Seminar Series is a monthly seminar featuring eminent individuals from various disciplines in the scientific community whose research is outstanding, interdisciplinary, and of broad interest to strategic interest initiatives in the earth sciences. Speakers normally spend a full day with researchers at Earth Sciences Division, LBNL, and the University of California, Berkeley.
The Earth Science & Industry Seminar Series at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab is a new kind of seminar series aimed at bridging the gap between science, technology, and industry with the following goals:
The NCGC Distinguished Lecturer Series was developed to offer outstanding speakers to colleges, universities, societies and industry. The lecturers are tasked with representing the vision and accomplishments of the Center to a broader audience as well as conveying the key scientific advances to technical audiences.
Distinguished speakers who might bring new but relevant perspectives to Sustainable Systems SFA (as well as possibilities for collaboration) are invited quarterly to give a presentation and meet with SSSFA members.
