STOLEN PROPERTY – Report all thefts immediately to Maryann Villavert or Kryshna Avina. Report lost or stolen assets right away to ensure that proper documentation for the lost or stolen asset is completed. If the asset is stolen you will need to file a police report with the police department having jurisdiction where the theft took place. If the stolen property is a laptop computer, portable hard drive or desk top computer, completes a Laptop and Mobile Device Loss or Theft Report and submits to Security Office. PROPERTY PASSES – Property taken offsite or on travel/home – Make sure you have an approved Property Pass for these assets, see Theresa Pollard in Bldg. 70A or Sara Hefty in Bldg. 74. Lab property that leaves the Lab for repairs, use while on travel, use at home, salvage/excess, or any off-site experiment location must be properly documented prior to removing it from Lab premisis.
SENDING PROPERTY TO EXCESS – If you have property you would like to send to Excess, notify Krys or Theresa. The Lab is conducting ongoing free clean up; please take advantage of this opportunity to clean out your labs and office. We need to ensure all DOE tagged assets have a completed EMT (Equipment Movement Tag) form that is signed by transportation.
PROPERTY CUSTODIANS – (anyone who utilizes DOE property at LBNL) are responsible for knowing the status and location of all assets assigned to them and are accountable for them at all times.
All Lab property that carries a "LBL/DOE U.S. Govt. Prop" bar code tag, typically with 7 digits, must be accounted for at all times.
Incidental use of certain Lab property such as computers and phones is allowable.

Lab Property Review -- (LPR) Allows LBL staff members to review, maintain, and update their DOE tagged property location assets information.
Run your own individual report (PDF, HTML, Text file export) from the Sunflower Asset Management System (AMS) (LBNL Employee ID# is required)
Repairs: Shipping Document signed by the Property Respresentative or Business Manager.
Travel/Home Use: Property Pass issued and signed by the Property Representative.
Off-Site Experiment: Property Pass issued and signed by the Property Representative . -AND in some cases- Shipping Document signed by the Property Respresentative or Business Manager
