Much of the success of building a workforce includes employees referring people they know to hiring managers. Berkeley Lab's Employee Referral Incentive Program gives an award, on a graded scale, for jobs that are general to most-difficult-to-fill jobs to employees whose referral of an external candidate leads to a successful hire. Award payments are made within one month after the successful referral reports to work. More details can be found at the LBNL Human Resources Department Employee Referral Incentive Program.
