Introduction
The LBNL Library relies on the Divisions to ensure that authors are meeting the publishing requirements as stated in the RPM, Section 5.02, Scientific and Technical Publications
If you are writing a paper to send out for consideration by a journal or publishing organization, please ensure before you do so that you are familiar with the latest instructions and policies regarding internal reviews. Once the paper is accepted for publication by a journal, the paper should then be submitted to the ESD Reports Coordinator to acquire an LBNL number. (For more information as to when and why you should acquire an LBNL#, click here.

LBNL Reports Database
Click here to search for your LBNL #'s (data starts back to TBD). If none can be found, please contact the ESD Report Coordinator to submit your paper to acquire an LBNL #, or to request assistance in identifying an LBNL # for your paper prior to 2008.
Note that information submitted to this database will be released in open-access repositories that provide access to your paper to thousands of scientists, worldwide, without paying subscription or other access fees. One such repository is the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Scientific and Technical Information Bridge.
